South Side Small Engine Repair in Oxford, NS is inviting applications for the position of Small engine mechanic. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must diagnose and isolate faults in engines and motors.
• The candidate must discuss work with the supervisor.
• The candidate must estimate repair costs.
• The candidate must review work orders.
• The candidate must adjust, repair or replace parts using hand tools and equipment.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment.
• The candidate must advise customers on work performed and the condition of equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
