Ski lift operator

Dagmar Resort Ltd. ( Ashburn, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Ski lift operator. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment - Part time leading to full time. Shift timings include: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must monitor equipment to detect wear and damage.
• The candidate must operate rides and amusements.
• The candidate must assist patrons on and off rides.
• The candidate must be the point of contact to handle emergency situations.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a ski centre or resort to manage operations, support guests, and maintain facilities.
