Shipping and receiving clerk

Dryco Industries Ltd. ( Chilliwack, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Shipping and receiving clerk. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must determine methods of shipment.
• The candidate must prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
• The candidate must assemble containers and crates.
• The candidate must inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documentation.
• The candidate must maintain internal record-keeping systems.
• The candidate must record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• The candidate must route goods to appropriate storage areas.
• The candidate must pack goods to be shipped.
• The candidate must unpack goods received.
• The candidate must affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments.
• The candidate must oversee loading and unloading of goods.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
