Shipper-receiver

Kristian Electric Ltd is situated in Calgary, AB and is hiring a Shipper-receiver to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Morning shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
• The candidate must inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documentation.
• The candidate must maintain internal record-keeping systems.
• The candidate must record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• The candidate must route goods to appropriate storage areas.
• The candidate must pack goods to be shipped.
• The candidate must unpack goods received.
• The candidate must oversee loading and unloading of goods.
• The candidate must operate a forklift.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.

• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
