Sheet metal worker

FOXFAB POWER SOLUTIONS INC. is situated in Surrey, BC and is hiring a Sheet metal worker to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must measure and mark sheet metal according to templates.
• The candidate must operate laser cutters.
• The candidate must grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces.
• The candidate must cut materials using power tools or by hand.
• The candidate must assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment.
• The candidate must fit and join sheet metal parts.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
