Service technician - motor vehicle repair

Park Shore BMW in North Vancouver, BC is inviting applications for the position of Service technician - motor vehicle repair. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Day, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must discuss work with the supervisor.
• The candidate must inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must inspect motors in operation.
• The candidate must road test motor vehicles.
• The candidate must test automotive systems and components.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate must test and adjust units to specifications.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be flexible.

• The candidate must be punctual.
