Cadet Cleaners is situated in Oakville, ON and is hiring a Seamstress to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must make made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications.
• The candidate must fit, alter, and repair garments as required.
• The candidate must lay out, cut, sew and press materials to make hats.
• The candidate must make, alter, or re-style fur garments and accessories.
• The candidate must operate sewing machines or sew by hand.
• The candidate must select and modify commercial patterns to meet customer and manufacturer specifications and fit.
• The candidate must design patterns to fit measurements.
• The candidate must mark, cut, and sew fabric.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
