University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC is inviting applications for the position of Sandwich maker. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Casual employment - Part time leading to full time position. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set up tables accordingly.
• The candidate must keep records of the quantities of food used.
• The candidate must package take-out food.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Benefits

• The candidate shall receive benefits in line with the collective agreement contract between the employer and the union representing a bargaining unit.
• The employer will pay for the candidate's learning/training.
• The selected candidate will receive an available parking facility where employer provide parking to employee at a cost that is less than the fair market value of the parking space.
