Sales greeter

University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC is seeking a self-motivated Sales greeter. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Casual employment - Part time leading to full time opportunity. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must maintain sales records for inventory control.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in an on-site customer service environment, such as an office or business location.
• The candidate should work in bakery retail or commercial bakeries (manufacturing facilities), grocery or wholesale club stores, and restaurants.
