Sales order clerk

University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC is seeking a self-motivated Sales order clerk. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Casual employment - Part time leading to full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments.
• The candidate must advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in bakery retail or commercial bakeries (manufacturing facilities), grocery or wholesale club stores, and restaurants.
