Sales assistant

Fastenal Canada ( Sydney, NS) is currently looking for a skilled Sales assistant. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment - Part time. Work schedule: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must advertise and/or promote products, sales, or services.
• The candidate must perform data entry.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce.
• The candidate must estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must maintain sales records for inventory control.
• The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.
