Rope access technician (RAT)

Grime Fighters Service Group Ltd in Vancouver, BC is inviting applications for the position of Rope access technician (RAT). The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must oversee the safety of operations.
• The candidate must lead and instruct groups.
• The candidate must estimate materials, tools, and equipment required for projects.
• The candidate must supervise other technical support workers in the group.
• The candidate must wash and clean interior and exterior windows and other glass surfaces.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of workers.
• The candidate must administer first aid in emergency situations.
• The candidate must ensure safety procedures are followed.
• The candidate must develop quality management and quality assurance standards.
• The candidate must coordinate the flow of information within the team.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be hardworking.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
