Acron Roofing Systems Inc. in Edmonton, AB is inviting applications for the position of Roofer. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
• The candidate must install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
• The candidate must install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
• The candidate must repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings.
• The candidate must repair roofing systems.
• The candidate must apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level.
• The candidate must install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
