Security systems technician

RISER TECHNOLOGIES INC ( Surrey, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Security systems technician. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Evening, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must install electronic equipment.
• The candidate must inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies.
• The candidate must diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults.
• The candidate must adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies.
• The candidate must calibrate products using hand tools.
• The candidate must complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be well-organized.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.

• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Security and Safety

• The candidate must undergo a criminal record check.
