Roofer

Northeast Construction Group Ltd is situated in Calgary, AB and is hiring a Roofer to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
• The candidate must install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
• The candidate must install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
• The candidate must install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
