Job Description

  • The candidate must write, modify, integrate, and test software code.
  • The candidate must maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required.
  • The candidate must communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions.
  • The candidate must prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation on the status, operation, and maintenance of software.
  • The candidate must assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements.
  • The candidate must assist in the development of logical and physical specifications.
  • The candidate must program animation software to predefined specifications for interactive CDs, DVDs, video game cartridges, and Internet-based applications.
  • The candidate must program special effects software for film and video applications.
  • The candidate must write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications.
  • The candidate must manage incidents.
  • The candidate must be knowledgeable in JavaScript Object Notation (JSON).
  • The candidate must work with robotic process automation.
  • The candidate must consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must be bilingual.
  • The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.

Work Setting

  • The candidate must work in a game studio to design, develop, and test interactive entertainment products.
  • The applicant should be able to work in a school or educational institution/establishment comprising establishments that provide instruction and training in various subjects.
