Ride mechanical technician

Flyover Vancouver, Inc. is situated in Vancouver, BC and is hiring a Ride mechanical technician to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assemble mechanical equipment.
• The candidate must detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective machinery parts.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
• The candidate must install machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.

• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
