Physiologix Health Services is situated in Edmonton, AB and is hiring a Rheumatologist to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must diagnose diseases and physiological disorders.
• The candidate may conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, and preventive or curative methods.
• The candidate must prescribe medication and treatment.
• The candidate must refer patients for surgery.
• The candidate must treat diseases and physiological disorders within scope of practice.
• The candidate must treat psychiatric disorders.
• The candidate must conduct microscopic and chemical analyses of laboratory samples and specimens.
• The candidate must prepare research papers for publication and presentation.
• The candidate must study the nature, cause, and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases.
• The candidate must supervise laboratory activities.
• The candidate must act as consultants to other physicians.

• The candidate must hold a degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
