Retail salesperson

Canadian Tire Store in Langford, BC is inviting applications for the position of Retail salesperson. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Early morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must perform data entry.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must maintain sales records for inventory control.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
