Retail sales associate

RICARDOS CONVENIENCE in Conway, NS is seeking a self-motivated Retail sales associate. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate the cash register accurately.
• The candidate must operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems.
• The candidate must provide advice regarding merchandise to customers.
• The candidate must assist in the display of merchandise.
• The candidate must conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce.
• The candidate must estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
• The candidate must greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease.
• The candidate must maintain sales records for inventory control.
• The candidate must prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be adaptable.
