Restaurant supervisor

The Great Canadian Bagel ( Charlottetown, PE) is currently looking for a skilled Restaurant supervisor. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must establish methods to meet work schedules efficiently.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
• The candidate must ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must prepare food order summaries for chefs.
• The candidate must supervise and check the assembly of trays.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a food service establishment, which includes any indoor area or portion thereof where the principal business sells food for on-premises consumption.
• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
• The candidate should work in bakery retail or commercial bakeries (manufacturing facilities), grocery or wholesale club stores, and restaurants.
