Long Term Care Facility in Charlottetown, PE is seeking a self-motivated Cook, domestic. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must plan menus and estimate food requirements for preparation.
• The candidate must prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food items.
• The candidate must prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• The candidate must prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
• The candidate must inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• The candidate must clean kitchen and work areas.
• The candidate must manage kitchen operations.
