Now hiring: Restaurant host/hostess at Romeo's in Langford, BC. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Night, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect dining rooms and other food and beverage serving areas.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must answer customer questions regarding menu items and preparation methods.
• The candidate must attend to seating arrangements for large groups.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must perform opening and closing activities.
• The candidate must receive customer reservations and assign tables.
• The candidate must receive payments from customers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
