Erie Beach Hotel is situated in Port Dover, ON and is hiring a Restaurant host/hostess to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment - Part time employment. Required shifts: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must balance and deposit cash.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must greet customers.
• The candidate must perform opening and closing activities.
• The candidate must provide general information on community services.
• The candidate must receive customer reservations and assign tables.
• The candidate must receive payments from customers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
• The candidate must be able to work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities, set in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the accommodations.
