Restaurant counter attendant

Science North ( Sudbury, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Restaurant counter attendant. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Terms of employment: Term or contractPart time leading to full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• The candidate must operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• The candidate must sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
• The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• The candidate must take customers’ orders.
• The candidate must clean and sanitize kitchens, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
• The candidate must receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must have the ability to multitask.
