Registered practical nurse (R.P.N.)

Tartan Medical Centre ( Nepean, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Registered practical nurse (R.P.N.). The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Term or contractFull time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing.
• The candidate must conduct specimen collection in accordance with protocols.
• The candidate must ensure infection control.
• The candidate must take vital signs.
• The candidate must provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
• The candidate must monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a physician’s office to assist medical staff, manage patient records, and support clinical operations.
