Registered nurse (R.N.)

Spectrum Health Care ( Mississauga, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Registered nurse (R.N.). We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in patients' conditions.
• The candidate must address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
• The candidate must assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
• The candidate must collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
• The candidate must deliver health education programs.
• The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• The candidate must manage home care cases.
• The candidate must provide consultative services on matters related to the nursing profession and nursing practice.
• The candidate must provide nursing care.
• The candidate must supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a home care or visiting care agency to provide support, assistance, and health services to clients in their residences.
• The candidate should work in a nursing home/home for the aged or people who don't need to be in a hospital but can't be cared for at home.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
