Registered practical nurse (R.P.N.)

ATK Care INC. ( Sutton West, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Registered practical nurse (R.P.N.). We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Overtime required, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Shift shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must administer medications as prescribed.
• The candidate must apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing.
• The candidate must conduct specimen collection in accordance with protocols.
• The candidate must ensure infection control.
• The candidate must monitor nutritional intake.
• The candidate must take vital signs.
• The candidate must provide safety and health education to individuals and their families.
• The candidate must provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures.
• The candidate must monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team.

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate must be accurate.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate should work in a nursing home/home for the aged or people who don't need to be in a hospital but can't be cared for at home.
