Registered nurse (R.N.)

Carecorp at Sun Rivers Limited Partnership ( Kamloops, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Registered nurse (R.N.). Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist health care practitioners during examinations or treatments.
• The candidate must monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in patients' conditions.
• The candidate must deliver immunization programs.
• The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• The candidate must provide nursing care.
• The candidate must supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a nursing home/home for the aged or people who don't need to be in a hospital but can't be cared for at home.
