COMPASSION HOMECARE in Harbour Grace, NL is inviting applications for the position of Foot care nurse. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Shift, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must engage in community program development.
• The candidate must monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in patients' conditions.
• The candidate must participate in community needs assessments to support program development.
• The candidate must address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
• The candidate must collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
• The candidate must engage in research activities related to nursing.
• The candidate must provide consultative services on matters related to the nursing profession and nursing practice.
• The candidate must provide nursing care.
• The candidate must perform administrative tasks.
• The candidate must provide therapeutic foot massage.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate must be accurate.
