Recreation therapist aide

Safe Care Home Support in Coquitlam, BC is inviting applications for the position of Recreation therapist aide. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist health care professionals as needed.
• The candidate must clean and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must maintain an inventory of equipment.
• The candidate must perform general clerical duties.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
• The candidate must work in a home care or visiting care agency to provide support, assistance, and health services to clients in their residences.
