Production worker - furniture manufacturing

Kingswood Interiors Ltd is situated in Calgary, AB and is hiring a Production worker - furniture manufacturing to join the team. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Overtime required, Morning, Evening shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must make minor adjustments and repairs to furniture.
• The candidate must prepare, sand and trim wooden furniture and fixture parts.
• The candidate must assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles.
• The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.
• The candidate must reinforce assembled furniture and fixtures with supports.
• The candidate must install hardware on furniture and fixtures.
• The candidate must mark defective parts or products for repair.
• The candidate must smooth gouges using wood filler and sand wooden surfaces.
• The candidate must make minor furniture repairs.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
