Processing plant worker, seafood

PÊCHERIES BELLE-ILE FISHERIES LTEE LTD is situated in Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphaël, NB and is hiring a Processing plant worker, seafood to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must cut, clean, and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing.
• The candidate must disjoint and remove meat from lobsters or other crustaceans preparatory to canning or further processing.
• The candidate must set up and operate machines to can, bag, box, or otherwise package fish and seafood products.
• The candidate must set up and operate machines to clean, cut, cook, smoke, brine, dehydrate, or otherwise process fish or seafood products.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
