IGUANAS MEXICAN GRILL ( Powell River, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Chef. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must create new recipes.
• The candidate must prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
• The candidate must requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed.
• The candidate must arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
• The candidate must plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
