Job Description

The candidate must advise press crews on product specifications or material requirements.
The candidate must prepare production schedules.
The candidate must review job orders to determine production time, colour sequence and required quantities.
The candidate must fill ink fountains and control color and viscosity.
The candidate must plan production methods.
The candidate must instruct apprentices.
The candidate must remove and clean plates and cylinders at the end of the press run.
The candidate must set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment.
The candidate must direct the press crew to set up, operate, and shut down the press.
The candidate must ensure adherence to safety regulations.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
