Job Description

The candidate must slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses.
The candidate must remove feathers, singe, and wash poultry to prepare for further processing or packaging.
The candidate must cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial, or wholesale use.
The candidate must remove bones from meat.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.

Work Site Environment

The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.

Work Setting

The candidate should work in a meat processing and packing plant/establishment that protects meat and meat products during processing, storage, and distribution from mechanical, chemical, and biological hazards.
