Poultry farm worker

Southwest Poultry Services Ltd. is situated in St. Marys, ON and is hiring a Poultry farm worker to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must handle animals.
• The candidate must monitor animal health.
• The candidate must ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are strictly followed.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

• The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
• The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
