LES INDUSTRIES FOURNIER INC. ( Thetford Mines, QC) is currently looking for a skilled Plant tinsmith. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Evening, , 16:30 to 03:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must measure and mark sheet metal according to templates.
• The candidate must operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
• The candidate must operate plasma cutters.
• The candidate must cut materials using power tools or by hand.
• The candidate must assemble, erect, and install hoisting and rigging equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
