Maxx Physiotherapy & Wellness is situated in Fort Saskatchewan, AB and is hiring a Physiotherapy assistant to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Morning, Day, Evening.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year or equivalent experience.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be interpersonally aware.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in sports therapy prevention and management of injuries resulting from sports and exercise participation at all ages and all levels of ability.
• The candidate must work in a private practice.
• The candidate should practise manipulative therapy and apply gentle pressure to manipulate the muscles, soft tissues and joints.

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must be willing to walk for long periods of time.
