Physiotherapist

Nova Physiotherapy in Port Coquitlam, BC is seeking a self-motivated Physiotherapist. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Evening, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must assess patients’ physical abilities.
• The candidate must examine patients.
• The candidate must supervise technical and support staff.
• The candidate must plan physiotherapy programs.
• The candidate must select appropriate exercises, apparatus, and manipulations.
• The candidate must confer with other health professionals.
• The candidate must teach and/or supervise exercises to patients.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
• The candidate should work in orthopedics and specialize in the musculoskeletal system - the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles essential to movement and everyday life.
• The candidate must work in a private practice.
• The candidate should work in a rehabilitation centre and unique health institution in inpatient or outpatient hospital settings, outpatient physio- or occupational therapy practices, and community settings such as an individual's home, a school or a workplace.
