A & A Landscaping Ltd. in Port Coquitlam, BC is inviting applications for the position of Landscaping supervisor. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours, To be determined.

Job Description

• The candidate must direct planting of trees, gardens, and lawns.
• The candidate must hire, supervise, and schedule staff.
• The candidate must organize planting of trees, gardens, and lawns.
• The candidate must resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property.
• The candidate must schedule events, programs, and activities.
• The candidate must schedule work.
• The candidate must plan and direct grounds maintenance.
• The candidate must plan and estimate labour and materials.
• The candidate must organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls.
• The candidate must plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work.
• The candidate must maintain accurate work records and logs.
• The candidate must read blueprints and drawings.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at heights.
