Pharmacy assistant

St clair village pharmacy ( Toronto, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Pharmacy assistant. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate.
• The candidate must enter client information in databases.
• The candidate must help pharmacists.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products accurately.
• The candidate must maintain prescription records accurately.
• The candidate must compound, package, and label pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must bill third-party insurers.
• The candidate must compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
• The candidate must maintain supplies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be dedicated.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in the office of a health care professional to support patient care, manage records, assist with procedures, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• The candidate must be able to work in a pharmacy or drugstore.
