Job Description

• The candidate must ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate.
• The candidate must help pharmacists.
• The candidate must maintain prescription records accurately.
• The candidate must prepare medications for clients.
• The candidate must set up and dismantle equipment.
• The candidate must supervise and direct medical technologists or technicians.
• The candidate must apply and adjust casts, splints, and bandages.
• The candidate must clean and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must assist with scheduling and workflow.
• The candidate must prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
• The candidate must operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices.
• The candidate must bill third-party insurers.
• The candidate must compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams.
• The candidate must maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
• The candidate must interpret physician's specifications.
• The candidate must repair and maintain fabrication and laboratory equipment.
• The candidate must order supplies and equipment.
• The candidate must schedule and confirm appointments efficiently.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
