Pharmacist

Pattison Food Group Ltd. is situated in Kamloops, BC and is hiring a Pharmacist to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must advise customers on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions, and dosage.
• The candidate must dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or other healthcare professionals.
• The candidate must order and maintain pharmaceutical supplies.
• The candidate must advise customers on non-prescription medication use.
• The candidate must check prescriptions for proper dosage.
• The candidate must hire and train staff.
• The candidate must maintain medication profiles of customers, including registry of poisons and controlled drugs.
• The candidate must manage storage, packaging and distribution of medicinal products.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians, and staff.
• The candidate must evaluate labeling, packaging, and advertising of drug products.
• The candidate must lead and instruct individuals.
