Pharmacist

Pattison Food Group Ltd. in Duncan, BC is inviting applications for the position of Pharmacist. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must advise customers on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions, and dosage.
• The candidate must dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or other healthcare professionals.
• The candidate must order and maintain pharmaceutical supplies.
• The candidate must advise customers on non-prescription medication use.
• The candidate must check prescriptions for proper dosage.
• The candidate must hire and train staff.
• The candidate must maintain medication profiles of customers, including registry of poisons and controlled drugs.
• The candidate must manage storage, packaging and distribution of medicinal products.
• The candidate must supervise and coordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians, and staff.
• The candidate must evaluate labeling, packaging, and advertising of drug products.
