Serenacare is situated in Moncton, NB and is hiring a Personal support worker – nursing care to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities.
• The candidate must assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up, and assembling medical equipment.
• The candidate must perform other duties related to patient care and comfort.
• The candidate must perform other duties related to personal care.
• The candidate must supply and empty bed pans.
• The candidate must take patients’ blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• The candidate must serve meal trays and feed patients.
• The candidate must weigh, lift, turn, and position patients.
• The candidate must make beds and maintain patients’ rooms.
• The candidate must maintain inventory of supplies.
• The candidate must bathe, dress, and groom patients.
• The candidate must transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers.
• The candidate must answer call signals to determine patients’ needs.
• The candidate must collect specimens.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a nursing home/home for the aged or people who don't need to be in a hospital but can't be cared for at home.
