Shirley's House ( Burnaby, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Personal care aide - home care. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This is a Term or contractFull time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assist clients in water (i.e., pool).
• The candidate must assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
• The candidate must plan therapeutic diets and menus.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve nutritious meals.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must have patience.
• The candidate must be honest.

Work Site Environment

• The work environment is smoke-free.
