Job Description

  • The candidate must answer telephone calls and relay messages accurately.
  • The candidate must set up displays of retail parts and accessories.
  • The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
  • The candidate must advise on use and appropriateness of goods or parts.
  • The candidate must handle cash transactions accurately.
  • The candidate must identify, label, and catalogue received items.
  • The candidate must issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use.
  • The candidate must prepare and monitor work orders.
  • The candidate must prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies.
  • The candidate must receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials.
  • The candidate must sell spare and replacement parts.
  • The candidate must store items in the warehouse, tool room, or supply area.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must be fluent in English.
  • The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
  • Or equivalent experience.
  • The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

  • The candidate should work in a retail business, purchasing goods from manufacturers or wholesalers, and selling these goods to consumers in small quantities.
