Painter

KGF Construction ( Wetaskiwin, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Painter. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare, clean, and sand surfaces prior to painting.
• The candidate must repair cracks and holes in walls, floors, or surfaces.
• The candidate must mix paint to achieve the desired color and texture.
• The candidate must measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
• The candidate must advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
• The candidate must apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must be able to distinguish between colours.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
