Order picker

Atlantic Grocery Distributors Ltd in Bay Roberts, NL is inviting applications for the position of Order picker. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Work schedule: Evening, Night, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery.
• The candidate must obtain articles for customers from shelves or stockrooms.
• The candidate must operate an electric pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• The candidate must perform order picking.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
